some studies for a character design

I know it's been awhile since I've posted but I've been keeping quite productive work wise.  Here are some quick studies to familiarize my myself with the lighting, and anatomical structure of a character I'm working on.  I've been finding studying reference as it is like these before hand before you start designing can be helpful to the process and can possibly turn out a better finished product (not to mention more practice!)

Pledge to ROBOTA : Vengeance !!!!!

Hi, I haven't been post much, though I have been investing my time into quite a few other productive endeavours! Some I am bound to not speak OF but one of which I definitely can:

Robota is the project of famed Star Wars prequels design director Doug Chiang. Many of you involved in the entertainment industry as well as concept design enthusiasts are probably already familiar with it.

Currently Sixits, the studio I've been working with on this, is trying to get funding for development of this IP as Ipad and iphone game. This is an addition some of the other projects we're currently working with existing developers.

If you would like to pledge support, you can visit the kickstarter site here!

You can also visit the "like" the Robota: Vengeance facebook page

Thank you all in advance for your support and we look forward to showing you something amazing when we're finished!

P.S. You can check out and like sixits projects at these links:
